Maria Lynn Alderson, Conway AR
After 57 years of life and love, Maria Maxwell Alderson passed peacefully in her home surrounded by the love of her family after a two-year battle with breast cancer. Mariaâs courage was an inspiration to her family and friends. Mariaâs life was lived through spreading joy and kindness as a wonderful Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Friend. Maria was also a teacher and a successful log home entrepreneur. As a dealer for Honest Abe Log Homes, Maria loved helping people realize their dream of building a log home; and she loved working with her friends in the building process and at the company. Maria treasured helping people, and she had a special gift for designing and decorating homes.
Maria is survived by a large extended family including husband Mike, son and daughter-in-law Zach and Sarah Alderson, daughter Mikayla Alderson, and granddaughter Paisley.
A private family Celebration of Life Service was held at Griffin Leggett Conway Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family wishes any donations or memorials be sent in honor of Maria to Hospice Home Care, Conway Branch, 821 A North Creek Drive, Conway AR 72032 for the love and kindness of her three nurses Kaitlin, Sara, and Angela.
