Marian Matthews

Marian R. Matthews, 86, of North Little Rock, passed away peacefully Sunday, June 9, 2013. She was born September 13, 1926 in Brady, Texas to the late Herman and Ruth Perry. She was a member of Rock City Harvest Church of Sherwood and a retired beautician after 30 years. Mrs. Matthews was a giving loving mother, grandmother and loved the Lord with all her heart.
She is survived by her daughter Pat Priest (Bing) of Sherwood; grandchild, James Priest (Charlet) of Little Rock; great-grandchildren, Andie Priest of Little Rock, Isaiah Libera of Colorado. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Brandy Priest.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Pulaski County Humane Society, 14600 Colonel Glenn Road, Little Rock, Arkansas 72210.
Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday in Forest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, a Smith Family Funeral Home. Online obituary at www.SmithFamilyCares.com .
