Lillian “Marie” Eddins-Loux, 88, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, after a battle with dementia and heart failure. She was born in Brinkley, Arkansas to Bev and Lillie Mae Rodgers. She was one of many siblings, a twin, and the last of them all. She is finally reunited with them, whom she missed dearly. She was of the Assembly of God faith.
She is survived by her only child, son, Dale Eddins and his wife, Melissa of Little Rock. Two grandchildren, Andrea Kirkwood and her husband, EG, and Dustin Eddins and his wife Dominque, also of Little Rock. Two great-grandsons, Guy and Aaron.
Marie worked many years for West Department Store on Baseline Road. Her hobby was walking and probably walked thousands of miles in her lifetime including the many yard sales and flea markets that she visited. Her house was always immaculate and she was a great cook. She would rather clean than watch television. She said that trait came from her own mother.
Marie’s wishes were to be cremated. There will be no service.
The family would like to thank the staff at The Manor Senior Living of Little Rock. The nurses and CNA staff are top notch and loved on Marie like she was family. We would also like to thank Arkansas Hospice for their guidance and care.
