Marilyn Price

Marilyn Ann Hawk Price, 86, of Beebe, Arkansas, passed away peacefully in her bed at The Springs of Premier Health & Rehabilitation in North Little Rock on December 10, 2024.

Marilyn was born on July 15, 1938, in Heber Springs, Arkansas, the daughter of Evelyn Mahan Hawk and Lyndle Hawk. She was raised by Evelyn Mahan Walters and Grady Walters. Marilyn was married to Dallas Price on March 17, 1955.

Marilyn worked primarily for Remington Arms and then later for Wal-Mart, after initially retiring. She cared greatly for her family and always tried to provide for them when she could. In her youth, one of Marilyn’s hobbies was racing cars. She also enjoyed crocheting, spending time with her family, and watching her favorite tv shows Scarecrow and Mrs. King and Perry Mason.

Marilyn is survived by her son Jimmy Dale (J.D.) Price; grandsons Joshua Price and Caleb Price; sisters Linda Bischoff and Marilyn Louise Whorton, brothers Wendle Hawk, Jim Hawk, and Ronnie Walters; and many nieces and nephews.

Marilyn is preceded in death by her husband Dallas Price; mother-in-law Ruby Price; daughter-in-law Karrie Price; parents Evelyn Walters, Grady Walters, and Lyndle Hawk; sisters Joyce Smith, Carolyn Hockaday, and Katy Phillips; brothers Bobby Walters, Bill Walters, and Philliph Walters.
