Marilyn Sue Suggs Songer, 84, of North Little Rock passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2024. She is survived by her son Scotty Aday of North Little Rock, granddaughter Lauren Baird (Michael) of Bryant, granddaughter Kyrstin Brewer of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, grandson Ricky Gossett of Conway, her brothers John Suggs of Mesquite, Texas, Jerry Suggs (Anne) of Little Rock and sister Kathy Brown of Searcy as well as numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Lamoine and Laverne Suggs, husband, Larry Songer, son, Ricky Aday, daughter Tammy Taylor, son Renny Plummer, granddaughter Dawna Owens, and sisters Brenda Anderson and Debby Long.

Marilyn was a long-time employee of Pat Salmon and Sons in North Little Rock. She and her husband, Larry Songer were owner/operators of L&M Trucking Company. They drove for many years as a team and she continued driving after his passing. 

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Forest Hills Cemetery in Alexander, AR. Arrangements by Smith Family Funeral Homes in Little Rock, AR.
