Marilyn Frances Fraser Winburne

Marilyn went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, September 27, 2026.

Marilyn was born on December 27,1930 and grew up in Little Rock. She graduated from Little Rock High School (now Little Rock Central High) in 1948 and also attended Little Rock Junior College (now UALR). Marilyn retired in 1995 as a State employee of the Arkansas Workmen's Compensation Commission. She was an avid Razorback fan and attended several football and basketball games for many years. She was a past member of Zeta Phi Sorority. She was a lifelong member of Highland Valley United Methodist Church and a member of the Highlander Sunday School Class. Marilyn was also a lifetime member of the United Methodist Women and Circle #1. She was a garden person enjoying all of her azalea bushes, and had a love for chihuahuas. She always told us to learn the McFerrin and Fraser family history.

Marilyn is preceded in death by her late husband William 'Bill' Winburne, her brother Eddie Bruce Fraser, and her parents Bruce and Frankie Fraser. She is survived by her three children: Linda McLean Baer (Kenneth), Nancy McLean Clark (Joel), and Randy McLean, all of Little Rock; five Grandchildren: Kenneth Shane Baer (Colleen) of Washington State, Jon Baer (Amber) of Sherwood, Christopher Baer of Little Rock, Allison Clark of Little Rock and Felicia Treanor (Stephen) of Little Rock. Six Great Grandchildren: Issabelle Baer, Kiera and Sierra Baer, Ashlea, Finton and Isla Treanor. And cousins, Pollyanna Moore Hodges and Annabelle Moore Davis.

We would like to say thank you to the staff of Hickory Heights Health and Rehabilitation Center for taking great care of our mother and to the staff of Gentiva Hospice for the great care they gave her.

Memorials may be made to Highland Valley United Methodist Church or The Alzheimer's Foundation.

A visitation will be held at Smith Little Rock Funeral Home (8801 Knoedl Court) on Thursday October 8, 2026 from 4:00-6:00 pm. A graveside with be held at Roselawn Cemetery on Friday, October 9, 2026 at 10:00 am.
