Marion A. "Toni" Broderick, 86, of North Little Rock, passed away Saturday, March 19, 2011. She was born February 22, 1925 in Bauxite, Arkansas to the late Tony and Myrtle Dobbs Biggs. She was a member of Baring Cross Baptist Church. Toni was a beloved wife, daughter, sister and aunt who shared her full, happy journey through life with many friends and family. She loved to travel and enjoyed all of her adventures with Jim. She filled everyone around her with laughter, love and joy of life.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, James W. "Jim" Broderick; sister, Omega Crowson Blacklock; brother, Gene Biggs; niece, Eugenia Parsons and great-nephew, Robby Bramlet. Toni is survived by niece, Pat Reeves of Benton; nephew, Nick Crowson of Glenwood; great nieces, Shelia Parsons, Debbie Hensley, Diana Jo Burson, Tony Crowson and Melissa Sheppard; many great-great nieces and nephews and several great-great-great nephews.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Heartland Rehabilitation Center, Saline Memorial Hospice House and Kim Hammer for the loving, thoughtful care of our aunt.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Saline Memorial Hospital Hospice House, 23157-I 30, Bryant, Arkansas, 72022.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday in the North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Pinecrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be David Burson, Dave Burson, Tyler Hensley, Dustin Burson, Kevin Hensley and Cody Parsons. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Monday at the funeral home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com.
