Mariwayne Frances Page, 93, a resident of Presbyterian Village in Little Rock for over 20 years, passed away February 14, 2013. Born in Pryor, Oklahoma to Alfred W. and Ada Smith Page, she was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. Graduating from the University of Arkansas in 1940 with a B.S. in Chemistry, she worked for hospitals in Arizona, Arkansas and Missouri. She retired from Mallinckrodt Inc., Nuclear Medicine Division in 1982 after 25 years of service.
She is survived by family members, Dr. Jack and Pat Whisnant; Cliff, Bill and Bob Whisnant; Betsy Wahlgren; John and Jamey Whisnant; Beverly Pannell, Sue Bemberg and Jim Wallworth.
Special thanks to her caregivers who made her life better, Betty, Kim H., Stephanie, Kim F., Robin, Clarissa and Pam, and especially to Susan Whisnant who cared for Mariwayne for the past 20 years.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, February 16 at 10:00 a.m. at Oakland Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Jerry Collins. Memorials may be made to the 20th Century Club, 4011 Maryland Avenue, Little Rock, AR 72204.
