Mark Orman, formerly of Fourche, Arkansas, passed away on March 6, 2026. He was born in 1964 to Lester and Lela Orman.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents and his nephew, Ricky.

Mark leaves behind a life and legacy that will be remembered for generations. He never met a stranger and was known by all who knew him for his kindness, dependability, and genuine care for others.

Mark loved helping and providing for people. That spirit was evident not only in the way he cared for his family, but also in the countless celebrations and cookouts he and Myra hosted at their home, where friends and family were always welcome.

Mark was highly skilled in his craft as an HVAC technician, but he was especially gifted at relating to people and solving problems. Those qualities led to his leadership role as Vice President of Middleton Heat & Air, where he served faithfully for 21 years.

He had a deep love for the outdoors and spent many days fishing and hunting. Mark was a proud member of TRAM Hunting Club, where he hunted for over 50 years and most recently served as President of the club. The outdoors brought him peace, and some of his most treasured memories were made there with family and friends.

Mark is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 33 years, Myra. Though they first met in high school, their life together began in their late twenties. From the beginning, they were deeply committed to one another and to their children. Together they built a home filled with laughter, generosity, and love, often welcoming other children into their home along the way. Through hard work and dedication, they created a family legacy built on connection, opportunity, and care for others.

He also leaves behind four children whom he loved deeply and sacrificed greatly for: Jeremy (Amy) Orman of Hensley, Arkansas; Blake (Shannon) Townsend of Sherwood, Arkansas; Melanie (Bret) Watson of Stuttgart, Arkansas; and Brennan (Will) Phillips of Sheridan, Arkansas.

Mark was a proud grandfather to ten grandchildren: McKinley, Baylor, Presleigh, Lily, Pierce, Elliott, Reid, Adrian, Hudson, and Griffin.

He is also survived by his three sisters: Debi Kennemer, Renee (Mike) Moler, and Leah (Bobby) Wilson, along with many nephews, nieces, and lifelong friends.

Mark will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His kindness, generosity, and love for others will live on through the many lives he touched.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Arkansas Hunters Feeding the Hungry at https://www.arkansashunters.org/.  The family respectfully asks guests to forego traditional black attire and wear colorful attire to honor his love of life and fun-loving spirit.
