Martha Louise Cotham Bernardi, age 91, of Benton, Arkansas, passed away on October 19, 2025.

Born and raised in Tennessee, Martha spent most of her adult life in Wood Dale, Illinois, where she built a life filled with love, laughter, and hard work.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Bernardi; her son, Michael Reed; her grandson, Connor Ryan; and her great-granddaughter, Hannah Patterson.

Martha is survived by her daughter, Pam Dunahoo, and husband, Jim Dunahoo, of Benton, Arkansas; Candace Reed-Ryan of Chicago, Illinois; granddaughter, Amy Holland of Alexander, Arkansas; Ashley Patterson of Benton, Arkansas; and grandson, Wesley Reed of Trenton, Tennessee. She also leaves behind five great-grandchildren who brought her much joy.

A private memorial service for family will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are entrusted to Smith Benton Funeral Home.
