Martha Vera Madison, 92, of Little Rock, passed away February 16, 2010. She was born October 9, 1917 in Wallace, Florida to Huey M. Haynes and Emoree Jernigan Haynes. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.
She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Rev. Archie C. Madison; son, Richard Madison and wife, Rita; and grandsons, Chris Madison and wife, Natalie and Phillip Madison and great-granddaughter, Michaela Madison. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Phillip Madison, five sisters and two brothers.
Services will be Friday, February 19 at 12:30 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), officiated by Dr. Jim Daniel. Interment will follow at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock. The family will greet friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m.
