Martha Nell "Marty" Morgan, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and cherished member of her community, passed away on March 20, 2026, in her hometown of Hot Springs, Arkansas. Born on August 26, 1947, Martha's life was marked by steadfast commitment to her family, faith, and work.
Martha, affectionately known as Marty, graduated from Mountain Pine High School and went on to complete business school, laying a foundation for her professional accomplishments. She distinguished herself in her career as a dedicated secretary for The Mid-America Museum, Weyerhaeuser, and the Senior Citizens of Hot Springs. Her work was characterized by unwavering diligence and a warm personal touch.
On May 25, 1968, she married her beloved husband, Clyde A. Morgan. Their marriage was a cornerstone of her life until his passing. Together, they built a family grounded in love and faith.
Marty was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Royal, where her spiritual life flourished. Her deep Christian faith provided strength throughout her challenges, especially during her courageous battle with dementia. Those who knew her witnessed her grace and perseverance through a difficult illness that profoundly affected her later years.
She is survived by her loving sons and their spouses, Kelly Morgan and Kim Morgan of Mountain Pine, Arkansas, and Tim and Jennifer Morgan of Bonnerdale, Arkansas. Her extended family includes her sister-in-law, Audrey Outler Nelson of Royal, Arkansas; cherished grandchildren Kallie Hibbard (Steve), Kendra Laxton, Taylor Morgan, and Tyson Morgan; and great-grandchildren Oakley Laxton, Karalyne Hibbard, Harley Laxton, and Kolsen Hibbard. Though Marty has left this life, these loved ones carry forward her spirit and legacy.
Martha was preceded in death by her parents, Ottie and Alta Lois Outler; sisters Belva Buttrum (Virdell) and Carolyn Jeffers (Randall); brother Don Outler; and her cherished husband, Clyde A. Morgan.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate Marty's life with a visitation at 10:00 a.m. on March 26, 2026, at the First Baptist Church of Royal, located at 7402 Albert Pike Road in Royal, Arkansas, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m.
Pallbearers honoring her memory will be Kyle Outler, Cade Outler, Mike Moore, Lon Moore, Greg Watkins, and Chuck Chatham. Honorary pallbearers include the dedicated nurses and staff of Lake Hamilton Health & Rehab who provided compassionate care.
Martha Nell Morgan's journey was one of love, resilience, and faith. Her memory will remain a blessing to all who were touched by her life. Her family finds comfort in knowing she rests now at the feet of Jesus, free from suffering, in eternal peace.
