Martha Rush

Martha Sue (Bearden) Rush, 75, of Beebe passed from this earth on July 8, 2020 in her home surrounded by her family.  She was born on January 23, 1945 in Searcy Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her parents Burl and Emma Bearden; her husband Robert Rush of 47 years; her daughter Clara Sanders; great granddaughter Haley; five sisters, Mary Mendenhall, Dorothy Musselwhite, Clara Bongfeldt, Ruby Jewel, and Jo Ann Crabb; also, a daughter-in-law Donna Rush and grandson Robert Sanders.

She is survived by sons Don Rush of Beebe, Tony Rush of West Virginia, Robert Rush Jr. (Kim) and David Hanna (Teresa) both of California; her son-in-law Larry Sanders of Cabot; sisters Betty Dottore of Cabot, and Ruth Phegley of Harrison; grandchildren, Amanda, Tammy (Jimmy), Jennifer, William, Ben, Kristen (Rachel), Cheyenne (Jeremy), Heather, Sabrina, and Beth; great grandchildren, Kayleigh, Tristyn, Tiana, Douglas, Dustin, Ronnie, Abbie, AJ, Josie, Tristan, Donovan, Selynna, Bryan, Nathan, Trish, Mallory, David, Dane and Ozzy; and a multitude of family, nieces and nephews.

Martha loved her family, adored her Kayleigh bug, and she enjoyed bowling and bingo.

Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe.  Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 11, 2020 with burial in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.  State of AR COVID-19 directives will be followed; including social distancing and face mask requirements.  Arrangements by Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home.   www.smithfamilycares.com
