Martha Louellen Waller

Martha Louellen Waller of Cabot, Arkansas was born November 10, 1936 to Samuel Edgar Martin and Bertha Marie Martin at Lodges Corner, Arkansas. On January, 17, 2023, surrounded by her devoted family, Martha went to Heaven to join her loving husband, Bob. She was 86 years old.

Martha was a wonderful mother to four children, Barbara Acree (Jimmy), Brenda Haggard (George), Tammy Mann (Ken Ϯ), and Bobby Waller (Patty). She was a doting grandmother to Amber Waller, Justin Acree, Heather Butts, Heath Mann, Bradley Waller, Robert Waller, and Hope Waller. She had 10 great grandchildren and lit up when they called her G.G.

Martha is survived by her sweet sister, Bonnie Jean Jones and is predeceased by siblings, Samuel Earl Martin, Edna Marie Diest, Mary Katherine Skean, Troy Wayne Martin, Myrtle Louise Smith, Velna Lucille Mensch and Ray Allen Martin; and son-in-law Ken Mann.

Martha married the love of her life, Robert (Bob) Fred Waller on May 26, 1953. Bob and Martha were active members of Country Chapel for many years, where they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. She was a great cook and made the most wonderful desserts. She loved to crochet and sew for her family. Martha enjoyed the outdoors hunting, fishing, and gardening. She also enjoyed playing games, including dominoes, cards, and bingo; she was a fierce competitor.

After a long career with Remington Arms, Martha retired to manage the office at Waller’s Garage, which she and Bob owned.

We will miss her beautiful smiles, warm hugs, and witty sense of humor.

Visitation will be from 5:00PM-7:00PM Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at Country Chapel Church (3000 Hwy 321). Funeral service will be at 10:00AM Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at the church with burial following at 1:00PM Bayou Meto Cemetery (1115 Hwy 276, Stuttgart).
