Mary Cooper Bennett, 79, of Stuttgart, formerly of North Little Rock, daughter of Arthur and Ada Cooper, passed away January 27, 2008. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Vaughn Bennett; children, Danny and Brenda Bennett of Little Rock, Doug Bennett of North Little Rock, and Dennis and Nelda Hansen of Stuttgart; five grandchildren, Cory Bennett of Bryant, Amberlea and Todd Barnes of Stuttgart, Heather and Eddie Davis of Kansas City, Jessica Bennett of North Little Rock, Whitney Hansen of Stuttgart; three great grandchildren, Emily and Summer Bennett of San Antonio, Texas and Will Davis of Kansas City; a niece, five nephews and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Ada Cooper, two brothers, Ray and Clay Cooper, and her sister, Nita Bramlett.
Memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 5025 Lynch Drive, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72117 or American Cancer Society, 901 N. University Ave., Little Rock, Arkansas 72207.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Rest Hills Memorial Park.
