Mary Elizabeth Dixon, age 85, of Arkadelphia, died Tuesday August 16, 2016. She was born November 8, 1930 to Clarence and Ester Howell. She was a very active member of Third Street Baptist Church and formerly worked for the Timex Corp. in Little Rock. She was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Elgie Dixon and one brother, Louis Howell.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Clyde Elgie Dixon; a son, Rickey Dixon and wife Laura of Malvern, AR; two granddaughters, Brandy Frohnappel of Nashville, AR. and Casey Jones of Jacksonville, AR. three great-grandchildren, Abby, and Hailey Frohnappel and Nikota Jones; five sisters, Wanda McMahan, Gracie Bunn, and Vera Arnold and Joyce Burns all of Arkadelphia, and Amanda Deaton of Malvern.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Thursday, August 18th in the Ruggles-Wilcox Chapel with Bro. Greg Latham officiating. Visitation will be 10:00 am Thursday till service time. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Third Street Baptist Church.
