Mary Beth Etchieson

Mary Beth Etchieson, age 73, of Magnet Cove passed away Monday, November 2, 2026. She was born June 2, 1953 in Akron, Ohio to the late Richard and Sabina (Schweiger) Turner. Mary Beth enjoyed cross stitch, gardening, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a Girl Scout for many years and enjoyed camping. As a member of the Memphis State Camping Club, she met her husband of 48 years, Gerald Meeks Etchieson. She was passionate about education and helping children. Mary Beth worked in education in various forms in both Texas and Arkansas for over 35 years. She retired from the Hot Springs School District as a Psychological Examiner.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Gerald Meeks Etchieson.

Survivors include sons, Chuck Etchieson (Melanie) of Justin, Texas and Jimmy Etchieson (Jessica) of Magnet Cove; grandchildren, Brandon, Brody, Bryce, Odin, and Maisy Etchieson; siblings, Theresa Sadowski, Rick Turner, Susan Threlkeld, Peggy Brogdon, Eddie Turner, and Barbara Massa; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services are 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 7, 2026 at Smyrna Cemetery in Okolona.
