Mary Ethel Scott, 97, of Little Rock, passed away December 2, 2013. She was born March 1, 1916 in Chickalah, Arkansas to Hardin and Hettie Garner Greenwood and was a member of Westwood Missionary Baptist Church, and a former member of Green Memorial Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Everett Scott; brothers, Oliver, Jack and James Greenwood; sister, Macie Pickens; and great-granddaughter, Christine Jones. She is survived by her sons, Don Scott and wife, Beulah of Little Rock, Carl Scott of Calico Rock and Jerry Scott and wife, Lisa of Des Arc; seven grandchildren, Elizabeth Scott, Shannon Jones, Heather Temple, Jennifer Wilkerson, Jessica Green, John Scott and James Logan Scott; and eight great-grandchildren, Rachael, Evan, Savannah, Sydney, Holden, Linden, Allexus and Tristian; and a special daughter, Sandy Munson and husband, Jeff; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Services will be Wednesday, December 4 at 11:00 a.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), officiated by Rev. Robert Rainwater, followed by interment at Dacus Cemetery. Visitation will precede the service beginning at 10:00 a.m.
