Mary Louise Nicholson Faucett died in North Little Rock, Monday, January 29, 2018. Mrs. Faucett was 93 years old and is survived by her husband, Joe M. Faucett, both former residents of Pine Bluff. Mary Louise graduated from Pine Bluff High School in 1942 and members of this class met each month until just recently.
Mary Louise was a longtime employee of Southwestern Bell Telephone and ATT. She started her career in Pine Bluff as a secretary and was promoted to a Supervisor in the Order department and Maintenance Department in Pine Bluff and West Memphis, then retiring from ATT in Little Rock in 1983.
Mary Louise and Joe enjoyed every minute of life and had the chance to travel and see most of the world. They also enjoyed ballroom dancing and enjoyed it for a number of years after her retirement.
Mary were preceded in death by her parents Molly Clark Nicholason and David Luther Nicholason, Sr.; sisters, Maebell Baker (Bert), Virgie Gibens (Conway), Kathylyn (John) Dearing and David L. Nicholason, Jr. (Melba). She is survived by her children, James M. Faucett, John M. Faucett (Melissa), Judith Ann Faucett and Mary Jane Bass (Gary); 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and niece, Connie Carder (Bill) of North Little Rock; and several other nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 3, 2018, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 p.m., at Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel.
