Mary Holcomb

Mary Alice Henson Holcomb "has entered a new city, a new life". After the loss of her husband Charles, Mary raised their daughters and son. She worked hard to make a good life for her family by being an active parent in their schools PTA, Girl Scouts leader, and where her motherly duties called. She retired from Hot Spring County Human Services office. She enjoyed her grandchildren, reading novels, tall cups of black coffee, and long walks through the wilderness making trails up the mountain she might never walk twice. Our mother now makes her trails on the floor of Heaven, leaving behind all that she loves. Her work here is done and she is now watching over her family from her new home. She's making trails through the clouds. She is happy, proud, and knows she will be missed.

She was preceded by her husband, Charles Holcomb of Malvern, parents Wilburn and Verna Garner Henson and sister, Erma Dean Henson of Amity.

Survivors include sisters, Blondel Looper (Junior), Corine Diffie (Carroll)all of Bismarck; brother, Royce Henson of California. daughters, Vickie Langley (Larry Straczek), Sandra Spayde all of Malvern. son, Alan Holcomb (Robin) of Antioch. seven grandchildren, Michael Langley of Malvern, Kristi Mabbett (Rick) of Hot Springs, Christopher Straczek (Lindsey) of Missouri, Matthew Spayde (Sara), Daniel Spayde of Malvern, John Holcomb (Brittany), Sara Holcomb of Antioch. great-granddaughter, Kendal Ann Straczek of Missouri.
