Mary Jester

January 22, 1947 — March 3, 2017

Mary Jester, age 70, of Caddo Valley, passed away on Friday, March 3, 2017. She was born on January 22, 1947 in Amity, the daughter of Jesse Partridge and Ruth Phinney Partridge. On August 19, 1968, she was married to Carroll Jester who preceded her in death on January 5, 2011. She was also preceded in death by her father; her granddaughter, Isabella Lashay Jester; her brother, Jesse Morgan Partridge; and her son-in-law, Travis Davis. She attended Trinity Temple Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed reading Amish books, cooking, embroidery and crocheting. She loved being with her family, especially her three grandchildren, Austin, Cameron and Angel, that she helped raise and considered as her own children. She is survived by her daughter, Candy Davis of Caddo Valley; her son, Brett Jester of Lebanon, Missouri; a close family friend she considered as a daughter-in-law, Margie Palmer of Lebanon, Missouri; her grandchildren, Austin, Cameron and Angel Jester; her mother, Ruth Partridge of Amity; her brother and sister-in-law, Danny and Debbie Partridge of Little Rock; her sister and brother-in-law, Annette and Glenn Wehunt of Caddo Gap; her sister-in-law Elaine Partridge of Sheridan; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, March 8, 2017, in the Amity First Baptist Church with Steve Partridge and Glenn Wehunt officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Jones Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Pallbearers will be Brett Jester, Austin Jester, Cameron Jester, Glenn Wehunt, Danny Partridge, Tim Partridge, Steve Partridge and Corey White. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
