Mary Jo Lanham, 82, of Little Rock, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord Monday, April 15, 2013. She worked as a secretary for Arkansas Power & Light Co., then for American Legion Convention Corp. and retired with the Arkansas Highway Department. She enjoyed family and family-oriented events and her gardening.
Mary Jo was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Carrie (Harrison) Pruitt; stepson Brent Lanham; sister Vernell Cady; brothers Louie Pruitt, Tom Pruitt, Clarence Pruitt and Jim Pruitt; and brother-in-law Robert D. Owen.
She is survived by her husband, Jack Lanham; son, Charles McDonald (Anita); granddaughter, Lyndsay Salvador; sister, Janie Owen; sisters-in-law Susie Pruitt and Opal Pruitt; stepson Kent Lanham; stepdaughters Maxie Williams (Clyde), Reva Myers, Jackie Works, and Judy Talley; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Arkansas Hospice, 14 Parkstone Circle, North Little Rock, AR 72116.
Memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Cremation arrangements by Westbrook, a Smith Family Funeral Home.
