Mary Louise Bevis Champlin age 83 of Beebe went to be with her heavenly father Wednesday, May 29, 2024. Mary was born in Burlington, Kentucky on January 21,1941, to David Henry Bevis and Margaret R. Griffin Bevis.

 

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, David and Margaret Bevis, husband Tommy Wayne Champlin of Kentucky, her siblings Elizabeth Wetzel of Kentucky, Goldie Williams of Georgia, JoAnn Williams of Kentucky, Luchian Bevis of Kentucky, and Charles Bevis of Kentucky.

 

Mary is survived by her siblings Edna Francis Caudill (Gene) of Indiana, Ricky Bevis of Kentucky, and Vickie Bevis of Kentucky.

 

Mary will be remembered and cherished by her children Carolyn Sue Smith (Doug) of Arkansas, Karen Diane Wilson of Arkansas, Deborah Ann Andrews of Florida, Belinda Fay Butler (Basil) of Arkansas, and Eddie Carroll Walls Jr. (Tabbie) of Arkansas and her nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and friends throughout the many communities she traveled and lived.

 

In Mary’s earlier years she was passionate about fishing, dancing, traveling, wildlife, and meeting new people. Mary was active and social at the Beebe Retirement Center and enjoyed painting, crafts, dancing, bird watching, community activities, puzzles & word searches, and coffee with the ladies.

 

The family would like to express gratitude for the kindness and compassion Mary received from Arkansas Hospice and the staff at Beebe Retirement Center.

 

The family will hold a private Celebration of Life and request that any contributions be given to the residents of the Beebe Retirement Center or your favorite charities in her name.
