Mary Modlin
Mary Virginia McHughes - Modlin, age 75 of Little Rock, passed away March 22, 2013 at home with her loving husband and children by her side. She was born on February 6, 1938 in Little Rock; she was the daughter of Herbert McHughes and Zelma Long-McHughes.
She enjoyed bowling and in her later years she enjoyed bingo.
She is preceded in death by her father and mother; three sisters Ruby Kerr, Bobbie Nichols, and Sarah Garrett.
Survivors include her loving husband Marcus Modlin of fifty-seven years; one sister Betty Koon of Ferndale; children Marcus L. Modlin Jr. and loving daughter in law Debbie of Paron, Rhonda Ethridge of Little Rock, Gary Modlin of Little Rock, Ruby Modlin of Covington, Georgia; ten grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren and many special nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at Huson Funeral Home Chapel at 6400 Mabelvale Pike, Little Rock, Arkansas 72209 with burial following at Pinecrest Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 25, 2013 at Huson Funeral Home in Little Rock.
