Mary Rowton

Mary Rowton, age 68, of El Dorado, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2022.

She was born on April 12, 1954, in Hot Springs, the daughter of Leslie Harris and Virgie Small Harris. She is preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, Bobby Rowton; her parents; her brother, Les Harris; and one sister, Linda Harris.

Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to all. She loved her family more than anything on Earth. We rejoice that she is reunited with Bobby, who she looked forward to seeing him again. She was a jeweler for many years and loved her job, as well as helping others. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Brenda Hall of Pearcy; her daughter and son-in-law, Lesley and David Drummond of El Dorado; seven grandchildren and spouses, Mandi and Kody Rice of Royal, Steven and Brandy Hall of Molino, Florida, Stephanie Hall of Hot Springs, Payton and Marcus Roberts of Bismarck, Dylan Drummond and Fiancé, Bailey Lum, of El Dorado, Skylar Drummond of El Dorado and Harlee Hall of Pearcy; several great-grandchildren; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Brenda and Greg Hamilton and Vanessa and Greg Spurlin, all of Hot Springs; her special family friend, Evie Porter; her canine fur babies, Isabelle and Tanner; several nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M., Monday, August 15, 2022, with Pastor James Turner officiating in the Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs.

Interment will be in the Hollywood Cemetery.

Visitation will be held 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM, Sunday afternoon.

Pallbearers are Steven Hall, Robert Hall, Dylan Drummond, David Drummond, Ron Oakes and Kyle Taylor.

Honorary pallbearers are Lewis Yancey, Magidah Akel Mnatzagan and Tracey Brown.
