Mary Sue Carter Wade age 69, of Arkadelphia, died Thursday, December 27, 2007. She was born February 4, 1938 in Okolona, AR the daughter of Oscar and Thelma Smart Carter. She was a bookkeeper for J. C. Penny and Magic Mart and former employee of the Arkadelphia Water Dept. and a member of the St. Andrew United Methodist Church. Sue was the widow of Sammie Joe Wade.
Survivors include one son, Randy Wade and his wife Anna of Arkadelphia, two daughters Debbie Tugwell and her husband Todd of Bismarck, and Sandy Runyan and her husband Eddie of Arkadelphia, one brother Lloyd "Skeeter" Carter and his wife Barbara also of Arkadelphia, seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10 AM Monday in the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Chapel with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-4 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be grandchildren, Jeremy and Patrick Clark, Nicholas and Ryan Wade, Chad Runyan and Joshua Plemmons. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association or your favorite charity.
