Mary Elizabeth Whitington, 89, of Mabelvale, passed away November 20, 2017. Born in Provo, Arkansas, to Joe Thomas Kemp and Icie Jones Kemp, she was a member of Temple Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by her parents and husband, Omar Holiman "Dick" Whitington, she is survived by her daughter, Susie Whitington Charette and husband, Mark, of Alexander; brother, Gus Kemp and sister, Shirley Ward, both of Little Rock; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Visitation will be Monday, November 27, beginning at 10:00 a.m., until the service at 11:00 at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), officiated by Bro. Jerry Kidd. Interment will follow at the Little Rock National Cemetery.
