Mary Lou Gaddy

Mary Lou Carter Gaddy, 85, of Sherwood passed away April 23, 2020. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Sherwood and a secretary with the Civil Service at Little Rock Air Force Base. She is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Wilbur Gene Gaddy; her parents, Opal and Harry Carter; and sister, Anna Frances “Dittie” White. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Hyde (Marty), of Sherwood; sons, Thomas Gaddy (Shawna), of Cabot and David Gaddy (Lisa), of Conway; grandchildren, Christina Gaddy, Holly Baron (John), Brandon Gaddy, and Jason Trevor Gaddy; great-grandchildren, Kailey Gaddy, Lexie Walker, Lynleigh Baron, and Briar Baron; beloved sister-in-law, Eleanor Gaddy Bratcher and many nieces, nephews and family members. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity in Mary’s name.

Drop-in visitation will be Monday, April 27 from 9:00 AM-5:00 PM at Smith Sherwood Funeral Home (7700 Hwy 107). Private family funeral service will be Tuesday with burial following in Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
