Matthew James Weston Koshinski, 29, went to his Heavenly home on September 3, 2026. He was born on June 16, 1997, in North Little Rock, Arkansas, to Troy Koshinski and JoAnn Hill Koshinski Putt.
Matthew lived his life with a positive attitude, a quick wit, and a natural ability to make those around him laugh. He loved a good comedy special and could always find a way to bring laughter to the people around him. He was deeply devoted to his family and friends and cherished the relationships he shared with them. Matthew especially enjoyed fishing with his Uncle Woody, creating memories that will be treasured by his family for years to come.
Matthew was a passionate sports fan, especially of the Houston Texans and Arkansas Razorbacks. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with family and friends, and the simple pleasures of life. He was also known for his love of cologne and shoes and took pride in always looking his best.
Matthew was a dedicated and hardworking man who spent 10 years working for UPS. He took pride in his work and had a strong work ethic. Whenever he was able, he was eager to return to work and continue doing what he loved.
Throughout the challenges he faced, Matthew showed tremendous strength and courage. He maintained the positive spirit that had always been a part of who he was. His illness was only one chapter of his story and never defined the young man he was or the life he lived.
Matthew was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Pat Gunther, James D. Hill and Vanita Hill; and his paternal grandparents, Herman “Doc” Koshinski and Gloria Koshinski.
He is survived by his mother, JoAnn Hill Koshinski Putt; his father, Troy Koshinski; his sister, Grace (Drew) Putt; his brother, Philip Putt; his aunts and uncles, Sandra (Woody) Bryant, Deborah Guyot, Tony Koshinski, Dennis and Beth Eifling, John and Paula Eifling, and Kenny and Carla Eifling; his grandmother, Pearl Jones; and an abundance of loving cousins, family and friends.
Matthew’s life was far too short, but the love he gave and the memories he created will last a lifetime. He will be remembered for his laughter, quick wit, strength, determination, strong work ethic, and most of all, his love for his family and friends. He leaves behind a lifetime of memories and countless people who were blessed to know and love him.
