Maudie Vernell Crawley Bledsoe, age 89, of Magnolia, passed away Monday, October 10, 2016 in Stamps, Arkansas. She was born August 25, 1927 to E. B. and Lessie Craig Rutherford. Vernell attended the Assembly of God Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Lee Crawley; her son, Jimmie Charles Crawley; four sisters, Lois Trueblood, Evelyn Francis, Irene Van Camp and Nina Price; two brothers, J. B. Rutherford and Vernon Rutherford.

Survivors are one daughter, Lora Juanita Verschage of Magnolia; three sisters, Geneva Cash, Ruby Watkins and husband, Troy and Kathryn Nash all of Palestine, Texas; six grandchildren, Christopher Lee Verschage and wife, Karen of Oklahoma City, OK., Cheryl Ann Rose and husband, Dave of Canada, Rebecca Nell Verschage of Magnolia, Jimmie Charles Crawley Jr. and Todd Alan Crawley both of Michigan and Jimmie Lee Crawley of San Antonio, Texas; eight great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews

Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Thursday, October 13th at Antoine Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 pm Wednesday at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia.
