Maureen E Shelton

Maureen Shelton died on June 5,2017 and now there is one less sweet lady to engage complete strangers in long conversations, one less Boone’s Farm Wine Aficionado (Strawberry of course), one less lover of subtle flavors of fried shrimp, and one less Tea Party Republican. Her life struggles are over and she is rejoicing in heaven with her husband Maurice Shelton, son Bill Shelton, and grandson KJ Haggett.

Maureen was born in Minnesota, was the oldest of five children, moved around the country with her military family. She became a nurse, married her military husband Maurice Shelton and continued to move around the country until settling in Arkansas in 1978.

Maureen loved the outdoors, gardening, hiking, and never missed a chance to experience life.

She is survived by Judith Shelton-Barrier (Steve), son David Shelton (Cindy) , granddaughters Kiera Johnson, Samantha Shelton, Melissa Lee, Jacob Lee, Andrew Lee, Erin Bell, and Daniel Shelton, and multiple great granddaughters.
