Maurice Shepherd
Maurice Shepherd, age 92, of Arkadelphia went to be with her Savior and heavenly family Friday, July 29, 2016. She was born May 16, 1924, the daughter of Vernon L. and Mary Ellen Partridge. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Arkadelphia. She enjoyed painting, quilting, and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, eight brothers and sisters, her husband, Parnell Shepherd, and a son Relford Shepherd
Left to cherish her memories are her son and daughter-in-law, Lyn and Cindy Shepherd of Arkadelphia, daughter-in-law, Wanda Shepherd of Hot Springs, 2 grandchildren, Brandy Shepherd Erwine of Bryant and J.R. Shepherd of Hot Springs, and 5 great grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services will be 10 AM Monday, August 1st at the Jones Cemetery in Amity with Rev. Johnny McAnally officiating. Visitation will be 2-4 PM Sunday at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Jones Cemetery Fund, c/o Dora Lee Bean, 316 N. Hill St., Amity, AR 71921.
