Maurine Cooley

Maurine Cooley, 85 of Conway, passed away April 23, 2015. She was born April 8, 1930 in Warsaw, Missouri to Ferd and Susie May Shinn. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Steven Mason, and two sisters, Rosielee Simpson and Christine Young. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. She was an active participant at the Faulkner County Senior Citizen’s Center. She is survived by five children, Gloria Patterson of Lockeford, California, Barbara McWilliams of Conway, Ronald Mason of Conway, Helen Brouillette of Newnan, Georgia and Thomas Mason of Conway; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Funeral Home, 1751 Dave Ward Drive, Conway. Funeral services will be Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Grace United Methodist Church, 1075 Hogan Lane, Conway. Burial will be in Omaha, Nebraska. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Faulkner County Senior Citizen’s Center, 705 East Siebenmorgen, Conway, Arkansas 72032.
