Mavis Pettey Paxton, 69, of North Little Rock, passed away January 19, 2013. She was born July 18, 1943 in De Valls Bluff, AR to the late George and Avis Shumaker Pettey.
She is survived by two brothers, Ensley Pettey (Peggy), Ivan Pettey (Brenda); one sister-in-law, Doris Pettey; and several nephews, nieces and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband Bill Paxton and brother, Jason Pettey.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at the Peppers Lake Church of Christ in De Valls Bluff, AR. Visitation will be held Monday from 6:00 - 7:00 PM at the North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street, 501-758-1170. Burial will be at Peppers Lake Cemetery in De Valls Bluff.
