Maxine Salkeld, 79, of North Little Rock died on September 29, 2012. She was born October 3, 1932 in Conway, AR. Maxine was a retired seamstress for the Bridal Cottage and a member of 16th Street Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilmer Salkeld; her parents, Claud and Avis Gore; a brother, Bobby Gore; and a sister, Louise Welch.
She is survived by one daughter, Pamela Salkeld of North Little Rock; one son, Michael (Vicky) Salkeld of Sherwood; two sisters, Carolyn Sue Staggs (Raymond) of Atkins, Arkansas, and Pat Wilson (Paul) of North Little Rock; one brother-in-law, Howard Welch of Conway; granddaughter, Stephanie Jeffers (Michael); and two great-granddaughters, Jordan and Whitney, all of Carefree, Arizona.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at 3:00 PM Tuesday at Oak Bowery Cemetery in Conway.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street, 758-1170.
