Mayra Carolina Luna

Mayra Carolina Luna, 64, of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed away September 21, 2023.  She was born in Guatemala City, Guatemala to the late Elda Castillo and Raul Morales. Mayra was raised as a devout Catholic. She owned her own business; Carol’s Cleaning and she had worked various jobs over the years.  Mayra had worked as a bus driver for the City of Chicago, and as a bank teller, but the thing she was most proud of was raising her children. 

Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Luis Luna of Wisconsin; sons:  Michael Luna (Rana), Raul Tribble (Brian), Jorge Luna, and Lantz Cross; one granddaughter, Sophia Luna; sisters:  Elda, Priscilla, and, Sylvia; and Dulce, her “furry daughter.”

Memorial Mass will begin at 5:00 PM, Thursday, September 28, 2023 at St. Anne Catholic Church.  Burial will be in Chicago, Illinois at a later date.
