McCoy Burns

McCoy "Son" Burns, age 82, of Austin, passed away Friday, April 22, 2011. He was born on August 6, 1928 to Floyd and Etta Burns. "Son" was a dairy farmer who loved his family and the dairy business.
"Son" was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Emolene (Griffin) Burns and a beloved grandson, Michael Jason Burns. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Chelsie, Bedford, Troy, and A.D. Burns, and one sister, Marcell Moncrief.
"Son" is survived by two daughters; Ninette and Wendell Drennan, of El Paso, Arkansas, Becky and Delbert Wisdom, of Beebe, Arkansas, and two sons; Ricky and Cathy Burns of Des Arc, Arkansas, and Dwayne and Amy Burns of Austin, Arkansas, ten grandchildren; Cheryl Reaves, Carrie Wisdom, Mark Drennan, Charity Dulin, Jerod Burns, Derek Burns, Jennifer Burns, Jake Burns, Coy Burns, and Matthew "Matman" Burns, nine great-grandchildren, two brothers; Hack and Bill Burns, two sisters, Bea Shock and Louise Cearley.
Memorials may be made to Apple Hill Cemetery, in care of Ray Haymes, 106 North Hickory, Beebe, Arkansas 72012.
