Melba L. Fuller

Melba L. Fuller, 97, died Monday, October 30, 2023 in North Little Rock. She was born April 15, 1926 to Thomas N. and Myrtle Taylor Riggins in Cleveland County. She was a member of Levy Baptist Church and served as a perpetual member of Jewel Chapter #362 order of Eastern Star. She held many distinguished titles and honors in her years for several Eastern Stars and served as Grand Royal Matron of Arkansas Grand Court. She was also Chairman of Board for Jewel Rainbow for girls. She enjoyed serving others and her generosity will not be forgotten by many.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James L. Fuller and three brothers, Fred Riggins, Thomas Riggins, Jr. and Bertis Riggins; nephew Tommy O. Riggins. Survivors are her nieces, Bonnie L. Smith, of Marysville, Washington, Theresa S. Maupin, of North Little Rock, Kathy Cash, of Rison, Arkansas, Jenny McVay of Pine Bluff, Joyce Nelson, of Ft. Worth, Texas and nephew, David Speith, of Colorado.

She was loved by her great-nieces and nephews; and great-great-nieces and nephews as well as her special friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Levy Baptist Church.

Funeral service will be 1:30 p.m., Monday, November 6, 2023 at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rest Hills Memorial Park.
