Meredith Burtcher

Meredith Jean "Suze" Burtcher, 67, of Little Rock, passed away May 4, 2011. She was born in Worcester, Massachusetts to Herbert and Frances Hamilton Hudson. She was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and a nurse at St. Vincent Infirmary. Suze was a member of the Independent Order of Oddfellows, Order of Rebekah and the Castle Valley Golf Women's Club.
She is survived by her loving husband, Otis Burtcher; daughter, Cindy Bemis and husband, Monte; brother, Michael Hudson and wife, Sheila of Massachusetts; and two granddaughters, Caitlyn Bemis and Sarah Bemis.
A service with Military Honors will be held on Saturday, May 7 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Michael's Episcopal Church, 12415 Cantrell Rd., officiated by Rev. Ed Wills. Memorials may be made to ACRC Cancer Research, 4301 W. Markham, Slot 623, Little Rock, AR 72205.
