Merilyn Joyce Pasley, age 70, of Donaldson died Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at her home. She was born August 20, 1942 in Murfreesboro, Arkansas, the daughter of Walter and Dura Mae Partridge Tallant. She was a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church and was a retired seamstress from Levi Straus Co. in Arkadelphia.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Bobby Dewayne Pasley.
Survivors are her husband, Joe Pasley; one son, Ronnie Joe Pasley and wife, Donna of Donaldson; three sisters, Lottie Rothgib of Bluffton, Indiana, Mary Watts of Amity, Linda Higgins of DeQueen, Arkansas; four grandchildren, David, Rachel, Shay and Brittany and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, May 17th at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church with Bro Hollis McDermott officiating. Burial will follow in Jones Cemetery near Brown Springs. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Thursday at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia. Pallbearers will be Ricky Catlett, John Pasley, Junior Pasley, Chris Robbins, David Pasley, Stewart Clark and Stevie Childers.
