Michael Kennedy

Michael Scott Kennedy, age 51 of North Little Rock, passed away on October 18, 2013 at Baptist Health Medical Center in North Little Rock. He was born on November 2, 1961 in Little Rock, Arkansas; he was the son of Rommie Kennedy Jr. and Ann K. Crawford.

Michael was a member of Grace Missionary Baptist Church in Little Rock. He was a "trekkie" as well as an avid fan of Star Wars and the Arkansas Razorbacks. Michael was also a faithful collector of Pez Dispensers, his enormous collection ranged from a span of several years and as time went by he had many friends from all over the country sending him Pez Dispensers to add to his collection. Over the last several years Michael made many friends from all over the nation through online gaming, one of the games in which Michael was a co -creator.

He is preceded in death by his father R.B. Kennedy Jr; grandparents William and Ruby Baker-Scott and R.B. Kennedy Sr. and Pearl Cooper-Kennedy; a brother Douglas Kennedy and an uncle Bill Scott.

Survivors include his mother Ann K. Crawford; brothers Richard Kennedy and his wife Brenda, and Jerry M. Crawford; a nephew Chad Kennedy; an aunt Pat Carr; an uncle Roy Scott; Special Friends Antrone and Linda Austin-Miller; special family members Pat Staton, Randy and Deanna Staton and John and Michelle Staton, as well as his best buddy Luke Staton, and cousins Abby, Brad, Bret, and Eli Staton.

The family wishes to express a special thanks to Baptist Hospice for all their care and support.

Memorial Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at Grace Missionary Baptist Church at 4425 W. Vinson Rd., Little Rock, AR 72206.

Arrangements are by Huson Funeral Home of Sherwood.
