Michael Rodrigo, 86, of Little Rock, passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2008. He was a retired civil engineer and a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church.
He is survived by his children, Mala, Vivian, Palitha, Anoma, Nihal and Nimali, all of Little Rock; Tom of the United Kingdom; Malika of New York; Gamini of Maryland; and Jayanthi of Sri Lanka; brother, Charles and sister, Caroline, both of Sri Lanka. He was the father-in-law of Aine, Ivan, Shanthi, Shirley, Samudra, Dammika, Ramona and Kenneth. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Rodrigo; parents, Philip and Thomasia Rodrigo; son, Vernon; brother, Edwin and granddaughter, Nilu.
There will be Visitation on Sunday, January 20 beginning at 1:00 p.m. until the Rosary Service at 4:00 at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), Little Rock. The Funeral Mass will be Monday, January 21 at 10:00 a.m. at Good Counsel Catholic Church, celebrated by Father Richard Zawadzki. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
