Michael D. (Shag) Schagane, 63, a Vietnam Navy Veteran, passed from this life on to his next great adventure on February 4, 2016. Born October 25, 1952 in Chula Vista, CA, "Shag" was an avid Harley-Davidson enthusiast, and was fortunate to have a great number of friends and a family who loved him dearly.
Mike is survived by his wife of 32 years, Peggy McDaniel Schagane; daughter, Randi Schagane Vallencourt (Justin) of Oak Harbor WA; stepson, Jason D. Moore of Little Rock; one beautiful granddaughter, Ava Vallencourt; and sister-in-law, Sue McDaniel Price of Little Rock.
A small memorial gathering will be scheduled at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Pulaski County, 14600 Colonel Glenn, Little Rock, AR 72210.
