Michael F. White

Michael (Mike) F. White passed away on June 3, 2026 at the age of 73. Mike was born on December 8, 1952 in Little Rock, Arkansas and was raised in Carlisle, Arkansas. He was the youngest son of the late Reuben and Mae Dell White. Mike was a resident of North Little Rock for the last 52 years and a member of First United Methodist Church in North Little Rock for over 40 years.

Mike graduated from Carlisle High School in 1971 and attended State College of Arkansas (now University of Central Arkansas). He served in the Army National Guard and worked for Union Pacific Railroad (formerly Missouri Pacific Railroad) for nearly 40 years, where he retired as a Brakeman/Conductor.

Mike enjoyed the outdoors, hunting with his beloved Labrador Retrievers (Beau and Cisco), fishing, spending time with family, cooking, and watching sports. His grand dogs, Reese and the late Macee, were near and dear to his heart. He was a passionate supporter of the Arkansas Razorbacks and the Razorback Foundation as a season ticket holder for many years. Mike was an amateur weatherman and an ardent cheerleader for his beloved Hogs. He was an exceptional Pitmaster and was always happy to put his talent to use for any family or friend. He also won countless awards for the many chili cookoffs he participated in.

Mike is preceded in death by his parents, Reuben and MaeDell White of Carlisle. He leaves behind his wife of 52 years, Marian Sue Wallace White, of North Little Rock; his son, Justin K. White (Kaelyn); grandson Trent White of Cabot, Arkansas; brother, Clarence E. (Ed) White (Patricia Harl) of St Charles, Missouri; brothers-in-law, George Wallace (Patsy) and Richard Wallace (Jean) of Little Rock; nieces Peggy Abshure, Christy Wallace, Stefani Carson (Dustin), Korbin Kitchens, Julie Wallace, Mae Dell Carson, Ariella Carson, Layla White, Claire White, and Paige White; and nephews David White (Lauren), Geoffrey White (Darlene), Kirk Wallace (Leigh-Ann), Scott Wallace, Cody Wallace (Lexi), Greyson Wallace, and Tim Abshure.

The family was honored to have been provided supreme medical care in the last five years by The Arkansas Heart Hospital teams as Mike was one of the many "miracle patients" they dedicated their hearts to heal Mike's heart. Thankful for UAMS teams of Endocrinology, Cardiology, Hospitalists, Chaplins, nursing teams, Stephen Snyder, MD, his life long Internal Medicine supporter, then Alex David, MD, Vikas Vujjini,MD and above all his Home Health GIRLS: Michelle and Rebecca. Our hearts are larger because of each of you! The many prayer teams brought Mike and our family so much strength over these past 5 years and we feel your love.

Funeral services will be held at First United Methodist Church of North Little Rock on

Tuesday, June 9, 2026. Visitation at 1:00 pm and service at 2:00 pm. Graveside to follow on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at noon with immediate family at Pinecrest Cemetery.
