Mike Lawrence of North Little Rock passed away May 5, 2017.
Mike was born on April 17, 1949 in Crossett, AR to the late Joseph and Katherine Lawrence. The oldest of six, Mike is preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, and four siblings. Mike is survived by his wife of 35 years, Wanda Lawrence; his son, Bruce Lawrence and his wife April, their two children Zachary and Aurora, all of California; daughter, JoBeth Casados, and her son Riley, of North Little Rock; one brother, Steve Lawrence; and lots of loving friends and family.
Mike served in the United States Air Force and Air National Guard from December 1968 to October 1973. He was employed for 35 years with Metro Disaster Specialists. Mike was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing, camping, and gardening.
A rosary will be held at 6:00pm, Wednesday, May 17, 2017 followed by visitation from 6:30 until 8:30pm at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home. Mass will be held at 10:30am, Thursday, May 18, 2017 at St. Mary Catholic Church. Inurnment with military honors will be in the AR State Veterans Cemetery.
