Mildred Appler

Mildred "Ikie" Appler went to soar with the angels on November 21, 2009. She lived to the vibrant age of 85. She was preceded in death by her parents Sam and Erma Gallaher, husband Bobby and brother, Luke Gallaher. She leaves behind three children. Amy Appler of Sherwood, AR. Frances Smith of the home, who has lovingly cared for her until the end, and David Appler of Tawas City, MI. Her grandchildren, Stacy Conrad and husband Dean, Brian Steffen, Terry Smith and wife Sandra, Chris Smith, Jake Appler and wife Natalie, Jill Peryam and husband Ben, and Jenna Appler. She leaves her great grand children, Dylan, Shealeigh, Christopher, Bobby, Preston, Heather, Jerry, Nathan, Jesse and Olivia, along with her brother, Bill Gallaher and wife Lena, sister, Sue Bass and husband Bruce and a host of nieces, nephews and beloved friends. She was a shining light to us all and will be dearly missed. There will be a gathering at the family home for friends and family to share their favorite memories on December 5, 2009 beginning at noon. Pick up those pine cones, GG.
