Mildred Jo Ferguson

Mildred Jo Renda Ferguson went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 23, 2022 at the age of 83. She was born November 13, 1938 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late John and Elizabeth Renda.

Jo, or “Mother Dear”, was a fun-loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was an avid Razorback fan who loved to shop, had a witty sense of humor, and was a joy to be around. She retired from OTASCO and owned Ferguson Delivery Service with her husband, Allan. She loved to gather with family and friends, but most of all loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She attended Immanuel Church of the Nazarene.

Awaiting her on the other side are her parents; brother, baby Renda; and sister, Margaret Chaney. Remaining to celebrate her memory are her husband of 66 years, Allan Ferguson; daughter, Lisa (Bill) Hall; son John (Monta) Ferguson; grandchildren, Joseph (April) Hamlin, Triston and Kurtis Hall, Hayley (Joey) Lucas, Brennan (Sydney) Ferguson; great-grandchildren, Bradley and Linley Hamlin, Robby and Theodore Ferguson; and a host of other family and friends whom she loved dearly.

The family will receive visitors from 5:00-7:00 PM (with rosary at 6:30PM) on Tuesday April 26, 2022 at Smith Little Rock Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Wednesday April 27, 2022 at 2:00pm at the funeral home followed by burial at Calvary Cemetery.
