Mildred Galyon Horvath, of Little Rock died on June 2, 2017. She was born October 24, 1933 in Maryville, TN. She was the oldest of nine children born to Malissa and Melvin Galyon.

She was predeceased in death by her parents, her beloved husband of thirty-nine years, Edward A. Horvath; brother, James Benjamin (JB) Galyon; sisters, Beverly Humphrey, Faye Martin and son, Steve Horvath.

Mildred is survived by her son, Edward A. Horvath, Jr and wife, Claudia of Little Rock; brother, Carson Galyon (Wanda); sisters, Janice Tyler, Della Lane, Barbara Buchanan (Dan) and Mamie Edgar (David); grandchildren, E. Alex Horvath, III and Melissa Horvath.

Mildred's great love and devotion was to her family. She was a stay at home mother for many years but later worked at Midwest Video Cable Company for about seventeen years. After this, she cared for her two grandchildren while their parents worked. She also enjoyed being a member of Eastern Star for over fifty years. She served in many roles with her highest position with being Worthy Matron in 1997.

Funeral service and visitation will be held at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct., Little Rock, AR 72205 on Monday, June 5th starting at 10:00 a.m. with services following at 11:00 a.m., with a longtime family friend, Pastor Jimmie Howard Tribble officiating.

The family wishes to thank the people at Hospice Home Care and the at Home Inpatient Center.

Memorials may be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Dr., Tampa, FL 33607.
