Mildred Place

Mildred Elizabeth Place, 99, of Heber Springs, passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2025.A devoted member of St. Albert’s Catholic Church, Mildred lived a long and meaningful life grounded in faith, family, and quiet strength.

She is survived by a loving host of nieces and nephews who cherished her.She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Anna Bergschneider Place; her brother, Homer Place; and her sisters, Ruth Ann Culp and Dorothy Squires.

A graveside service will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Gillett Cemetery, with Fr. Babu Battula officiating.
