Mildred Estelle Cowart Raybon

Mildred Estelle Cowart Raybon, 97 (one week shy of 98), of Pearcy, Arkansas, peacefully went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 23, 2024, at home with family by her side. She was born October 1, 1926, in Lodi, Arkansas, to the late Levi and Allie (Welch) Cowart. Mildred was preceded in death by her late husband of 52 years, Louis Raybon.

Mildred was a lifelong faithful member of Oma Community Church. She sure loved blessing others with wonderful, homemade food. She was a proud café owner, at M&L Café, as well as the Snack Shop Café in downtown Hot Springs. You might even remember her waiting on you at Daylight Donuts in her eighties. She also loved living on her farm with her chickens and her beloved goats back in her earlier days. Mildred was truly a blessing to all who knew her.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mildred was preceded in death by her brothers, Leon Cowart (Sherry Lynn), Frazier Cowart (Velma), Clydus Cowart (Faye), Burl Cowart (Viola); Sisters, Sybil Thomas, and Linnie Mae Wacaster (Guy).

Mildred Is survived by a daughter, Barbara Ann Rowe (Carl) of Pearcy; a stepson, Mike Raybon, of Colorado; a sister Margie Dean (JT) of Hot Springs; and a brother, Ed Cowart (Frances) of Lodi, Arkansas. Survivors also include four grandchildren, Shanna Yarbrough (Troy) of Pearcy, Michelle Clamon (Kelly) of Bryant, Karla Collie (Justin) of Bismarck, and Kyle Rowe (Crystal) of Ohio; nine great-grandchildren; Skylar, Aspen, and Bryce Yarbrough, Destiny and Dagen Hughes, Trace and Tessa Collie, Brady and Brennan Rowe. She was also blessed with many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Gentiva Hospice.
